Located within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this lone Scots Pine in Priddy is a Somerset icon. I waited an hour after sunset for the sky to truly become the star of the show when those higher, rippled clouds finally caught the light, providing a vibrant backdrop for the tree's unmistakable, gnarled silhouette - good things do come to those who wait!
